Take Mold Samples By Your Self:

First, you need to wear gloves and/or other kinds of protection. This is to be sure of the fact that you are not directly in contact with the mold under any case.

The next step is to have a zip lock bag that is at least 0.6mm thick. If you are taking multiple samples then be sure to label the bags.

You can use paper tape. Cut a piece and paste it into the bag and then write on it using a regular pen. This helps you stay organized while doing so.

Use a sharp knife-like tool or something sharp and flat to scrape off some of the molds. Be sure that whatever you scrap off goes into the plastic bag.

Mold not only grow but thrive in places wherever the conditions are ideal, moist, humid and plenty of organic matter to feed on.

If your removed mold falls somewhere else, clean it immediately because it can spread and cause more unwanted consequences.
